MAKE Roanoke is now accepting payment through Member Matters, via Stripe. By signing up on Member Matters, your payments will be collected just as before, but it will be less administrative work for the board, and you’ll have the option to pay annually!

Daisy Art Parade Puppet Planning Meeting
MAKE Roanoke is thrilled to be participating in the Daisy Art Parade again this year! This meeting will focus on the planning of said puppet, including choosing materials, making a rough design plan, and creating a shopping list. This is the time to have your creative ideas heard! We will be scheduling several build days in the future to create this awesome puppet!

MAKE Roanoke hosts Virtual Community Meetings on the Second Monday of each month at 6 pm on Google Meet! No sign-in is required to participate!
Space Improvement Day
MAKE Roanoke is hosting Space Improvement Days at least once per month! Come volunteer your time to improve our community makerspace. Space Improvement Days are for any and all projects to improve our space from cleaning, to painting walls, to repairing plumbing, to sewing window dressings. No personal projects may be worked on at the shop on Space Improvement Days.

MAKE Roanoke is excited to participate in the Daisy Art Parade again this year! We had so much fun with our Maker-Bot puppet last year, and have decided on a Maker Octopus theme for this year! We’ll need your help in the planning and building of this large puppet, though!
Sewing Machine Basics Class
Come learn how to use your sewing machine (or learn on one of ours!) at our Sewing Machine Basics class on February 15 and March 1! We’ll be making a dog toy, all materials are provided!
