PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR PPE REQUIREMENTS
Come learn the basics of TIG Welding at MAKE Roanoke! Students will learn about:
- Safety and Terminology
- Basic Posture and Technique
- TIG Technique Demonstration and Practice
And they will practice Butt and Lap joints on practice plates. This class is for ages 18 and up, and is suitable for people with no to minimal experience.
PPE Requirements (Supplied by the student)
- Closed Toe Boots

Long Sleeve Jackets (FR, Denim, Leather, or Cotton)
NO POLYESTER OR SYNTHETIC FIBERS
- Full Length Pants
- Safety Glasses
- Leather working gloves or gauntlets
