Last time this class sold out in one hour! Join us at MAKE Roanoke to craft your own cutting board while learning how to use several tools in our wood shop! This class spans two days, and students must attend both days.
Wood Shop Orientation Announced
Another wood shop orientation has been announced! This orientation will get you access to yellow-level tools in the wood shop and is required for any future red-level tool trainings.

United Way of Virginia’s Blue Ridge has teamed up with MAKE Roanoke to rebuild their mascot costume!
Our next build day is on Friday August 22 at 6pm.
Our popular Sewing Machine Basics Class is BACK!
Learn how to use your sewing machine with this popular class that sold out twice! Students will learn the basics of their sewing machine, how to sew straight and curved seams, and how to assemble basic items while they make a dog (or cat!) toy.
Bite-Size Charity at Towers Chipotle
MAKE Roanoke is hosting a fundraiser at the Towers Chipotle on Tuesday, August 12 from 5-9 PM! MAKE Roanoke has raised nearly $400 thanks to these restaurant charities so far! We appreciate all of the support!
August 11: Virtual Community Meeting
MAKE Roanoke hosts Virtual Community Meetings on the Second Monday of each month at 6 pm on Google Meet! Come hang out with other makers of all crafts, learn about MAKE Roanoke’s updates on our Makerspace in Roanoke, VA, and show off that cool project you’ve been working on!

MAKE Roanoke is helping our local United Way by rebuilding their mascot costume! The current white glove costume is quite old, hot, and has the old logo.
